Globe Valve

Globe valves are ideal for throttling service.  The flow characteristic allow accurate and repeatable flow control.  However, caution should always be excised to avoid extremely chose throttling whey pressure drop exceeds 20% of the fully differential pressure.  This process creates excessive noise, vibration, and possible damage to valves and piping system.  Consult factory engineering if spec requires this working condition.
